It has indeed been a troublesome roller coaster for the national carrier of Pakistan (PIA) in the past decade or so. From scandalous news about under trained staff to massive corruption in all major departments. PIA has seen it all. But as John Milton says , " Every sable cloud has a silver lining" hence our quomi airline has done some interesting achievements in the past few years and also improved services . As I always say give the airline time. Therefore here are 10 reasons for you to fly PIA NOW !
1. MOST IMPROVED PERFORMANCE AWARD FOR 2015 by Dubai Airport Authorities !
"PIA has been given the Most Improved Performance Award by Dubai Airport Authorities at a recently held ceremony for showing remarkable improvement in its on-time performance in 2015.

Well well well, on time performance award ! This also means that PIA is on time ! Now this is an interesting comeback PIA .
2. KLIA FOREIGN AIRLINE OF THE YEAR AWARD 2016 !! At Kuala Lumpur .
PIA recently won the foreign airline of the year for KLIA ( Kuala Lumpur International Airport ) I do not remember this coming in the TV news , but then again one needs to know these amazing updates coming up. Kudos PIA ! Keep it up !
3. PIA JUST RE FURBISHED THEIR CABINS !!!
This one right here is my favourite , PIA has an interesting Boeing 777 fleet , beautiful machines of which one is a world record holder; AP-BGZ. Yet the cabins needed major upgrades, and yes they finally did it, PIA refurbished the cabins.

Long haul flights will surely get more comfortable compared to the previous economy and business products. Better cabins for surely means more comfortable flights! Chalo bhee ab pack your bags!
4. PIA UPGRADED THEIR INFLIGHT MENU LAST YEAR !!!
When coming back from any travel the discussion of "Jahaz ka Khana kesa tha " is indeed brought up on sham ki chai with the family . And definitely flying PIA means that getting the best of Pakistani food is indeed an expectation. But there has been numerous customer complaints about food quality , therefore PIA took that into consideration and guess what; they upgraded their in flight menu! After all who serves you the best Biryani at 35000 feet !!
5. THEY HAVE CRAZY DISCOUNTS ON THEIR INTERNATIONAL AND DOMESTIC FLIGHTS !!!

The first thing when travelling with an airline the customers witness is the cabin crew. From the retro dandy caps from the 1960's to the PIA pyjamas by PIERRE CARDIN in the 70s until the new chic and stylish uniform by Nomi Ansari , PIA has had an amazing history. Personally not being a fan of the previous uniform but indeed this one is amazing, after all these women are the ambassadors to Pakistan.
7. PIA HAS IMPROVED THEIR CUSTOMER FEEDBACK FORMS AND HAVE AN ACTIVE SOCIAL MEDIA !
The national airline has worked very well on their social media platform , by bringing the management of PIA into direct contact with their valued customers and guests on board.
8. PIA HAS TAKEN ACTIVE STEPS ON SCANDALOUS AND FAKE NEWS AGAINST THEM IN A VERY FUNNY AND PROFESSIONAL WAY ! :D

Now which airline carries the "Chand Sitara" so beautifully , I'd say no one but PIA. Yes there have been issues with the airline but they are Bakamal and they will be la jawab again !
