When talking about the middle eastern airline giants, Etihad Airways or how my arabic readers would pronounce it "Al Tayaran El Etihad" is no hidden secret. With the grand slogan of "From Abu Dhabi to the World" this is indeed a product that reflects Emirati hospitality cocooned in class and quality. Etihad also has the crown of being the flag carrier of the United Arab Emirates and is the second largest in the country. They have been famous for going an extra mile to bring a smile to their "guests" as Etihad calls them.
Therefore I am sure you all know what I am talking about!
5 reasons why Etihad is a people's Airline ?
1. They turned around a flight so a couple could see their dying grandson.
Time is indeed an important element in the aviation industry as it requires airlines to be on schedule and you may have witnessed that a plane leaves without you incase if you arrive late at the boarding gate. And indeed Etihad being one of the leaders in the industry has a strict protocol about time. In the year of 2016 Etihad Airways showed the act of humanity and care by letting an elderly couple get off their Abu Dhabi bound flight from Manchester to see their dying grandson. 2. When they flew Fatima Al Ali to Washington !

Fatima Al Ali is a UAE hockey star and it was always her dream to meet her stars of the Washington Capitals Ice Hockey Team. Therefore Etihad prepared a surprise for this young ambitious woman and gave her 2 business class tickets to Washington D.C to meet her dream team the Washington Capitals. 3. They Partnered with "The Year of Giving Initiative 2017".

4. They Celebrated Diwali at 40000 Feet!

Cultural festivals keep a very sentimental place amongst people of a specific sect or group. And celebrating it with them regardless of our backgrounds brings the world together. Even here etihad left everyone behind, they celebrated Diwali at 40000 thousand feet! Which is a Hindu festival of lights. Indeed from Abu Dhabi to the World!

5. They fulfilled 6 year old Captain Adam's dream to fly!

A recent video of a 6 year old boy went viral where he alarms the Etihad Captain Samer Yakhlef with his knowledge about aircrafts. They Etihad crew saw his passion for flying and guess what, Etihad made his dream come true by letting him fly the Airbus A380 simulator. Aye Aye Captain Adam and once again water canon salute to Etihad for making this happen for the child .

Indeed Etihad is a people's airline in my opinion , I would like to wish Etihad Airways the very best for everything and applaud them for their initiatives.
